Got my MAD TYTE JDM EBAY cup holder today. Ended buying a slightly different one then I had originally shared. This one says Nemesis on it, so ominous. It was a dollar cheaper, and it was already in the use so it shipped 5 days faster. The first one was shipping from Australia.
It attaches with what look like over grown bobby pins. It also has a adjustable peice support/rest. It also came with some sticky flim made to go on your vent louvers so the clips don’t scratch them, and a stick on bit of foam for the support.
The first thing I did was get my biggest coffee cup fill it with water and put it in. Everything held just fine. I’ve gotta say the clips are scoockum as frig. I was afraid of breaking the vent Louvers when I slid them on. It is a bit small for big American coffee mugs, but works A+ for cans.

Arrgg! I looked at that title and squirmed. Unmatched parenthesis! I been writing code for >35 years, including Lisp which is based on (matched) parens.
Other than that, looks good. Wonder how the vents will hold up on gravel or dippy roads.

I’ll be finding out how they do on bumpy gravel roads. I am afraid that if something breaks it will be the plastic vent louvers, not the metal clips.

yup. Was looking at yer pictures to see if reinforcements were possible. Maybe a ziptie lower down. These would not work on my ‘01 Subaru - vent louvers too weak..
And, if I may ask, good sir, what is the dial thing bolted on top of the steering column? Good looking installation.

Yeah I don’t see any good way to reinforce it. Other than some double sided sticky tape on the bottom where it meets the dash.
Thats a mechanical boost gauge from Stack. Which some how has doubled in price since I bought it. The car has a “digital” boost gauge that’s really just 6 little bars that light up in increments of 4ish psi of pressure or vacuum. Having an analogy gauge is the bees knees.
